Mike Laganza
Head Golf Professional
Michael was born and raised in Norwalk, CT and began playing competitive golf while attending Fairfield Prep. After earning All-State honors and winning a State Championship, he went on to play collegiate golf at the University of Connecticut. Michael graduated with a business degree and joined Shorehaven Golf Club as an Assistant Professional. He had a strong passion for junior golf and was able to take a very small junior golf program and develop it into one of the largest, most successful programs in the area (as featured in the Met Golfer). After attending many teaching and coaching summits, he was awarded the position of Teaching Professional.
Michael received the honor of being named Head Golf Professional at Shorehaven in 2011 and has been directing the golf operations. He is a proud member of the PGA of America and a Certified Flightscope Professional. Michael is dedicated to growing the game of golf while providing the members with a positive and enjoyable experience. He resides in Trumbull with his wife and identical twin boys.
